Pastors Dan & Sue Sherstad

Pastor Dan Sherstad was born in Hancock, Michigan. His family moved to Vashon Island off the coast of Seattle Washington and lived there for 8 years. They then moved to Palisades Park, New Jersey, across the river from Manhattan, N.Y. where they lived for 17 years. He then moved to the mid-west and has been living here for the past 20 years. Pastor Dan was born again at age 7 and was baptized in the Holy Spirit at age 12. At the age of 17, he felt the call of God into full time ministry. After attending Seattle Bible College, Pastor Dan was ordained into the ministry on Decemeber of 1986. Pastor Dan is a 4th generational preacher. He has been Pastoring churches and traveling world wide holding crusades, preaching at Pastor’s conferences and teaching in Bible Colleges for the last 22 years.

Pastor Sue Sherstad

Pastor Sue was born and raised in Dixon, IL. She was born again and filled with the Holy Spirit in 1984 at the age of 29. She was faithfully serving as part of a worship team in a small church that was literally in the middle of a corn field. The Lord spoke to her heart, and said, “If you will be faithful to where I have planted you, I will bring your husband to you.” God divinely orchestrated circumstances that caused Pastor Dan to show up all the way from New York City to a church that was in a town of 250 people. On a Sunday morning, 15 minutes before Pastor Dan showed up, some people on the worship team said to Sue, “Wouldn’t it be funny if the next person God brought to be the pastor of this church was single and you married him.” Well, the rest is history. This is one of the reasons that Pastors Dan & Sue are huge believers in great moments of “Destiny!” On November 21, 1992 Pastors Dan & Sue were married. Pastor Sue Sherstad co-pastors with her husband Dan at Destiny Christian Center in Mukwonago, WI. Pastor Sue has been ministering alongside her husband as a team - preaching, teaching, and counseling for the last 17 years.
They are the proud parents of two daughters.
